Admin users can give and/or take orders, allocate tasks and
see reports regarding the any project i.e. orders and tasks.
Admin user’s home
page of Majicdoor i.e. dashboard
consists of an inbox of his/her incoming messages relating to orders and tasks,
a list of his/her tasks, list of orders given to his/her organization and a
list of orders taken by him/her.
The lists of orders and tasks also display the status and
progress of them by icons. Keep your cursor on the icons to know what its mean.
One of the main functions of an Admin User is to give or
take orders to his/her own company or to other partner company which is
subscribed to Majicdoor.
You will get the following screen going to Order & Task > Give Order to Other Company to give order to your partner organization
or stakeholder.
Go to Order & Task
> Give Order to Own Company
to give order to your own organization. You will get a similar page like the
above. Here the name of your organization will be shown as read-only in the ‘Order by’ and ‘Order to’ fields. You may choose Order Giver and Order Taker
from the users list.
You may also take order to your organization going to Order
& Task > Take Order from any dummy organization you have created internally.
This option is used to create order given by other company
and take it in favour of your company.
Choose Order Giver
from the designated users of that company and you may assign any responsible
user as the Order Taker from your
organization.
You may create a task for the order having the conditions
described in the order by checking the box of Make a Task in the page of Order.
You may also create one or multiple tasks using Add
Single Task, Add
Multiple Task or Add Task from Template after creating the order. For using
templates for creating tasks, you must create the templates first using Create Task Template button.
To delegate tasks under the order, click Update Allocation button after opening
the task to transform the task page into edit mode. The responsible person of
the task will receive an email and a message in his/her inbox of Majicdoor.
S/he will start the task clicking Update
Task button and inputting start date of the task and s/he will update progress
of the task on daily basis clicking the same button.
To update tasks of the previous days, go to Time Sheet from the menu and select the
date for which you want update tasks before clicking Show button to generate the tasks for the selected date.
Only Admin users are permitted to update any user’s tasks of
the previous dates.
Responsible user of any task can reject the task writing a
rejection note and clicking Reject
button at the bottom of the task page.
You may equally distribute the responsibility of a task
clicking Distribute Task button and
then selecting users from the list that you get.
You may also delete any task clicking Delete button after opening the task.
Admin user can also complete
or close multiple tasks.
Admin user can start
multiple tasks in one go.
S/he may search order.
S/he may conduct advanced
order search.
S/he may search any or all tasks of any user.
Admin users are permitted to generate and see the following reports regarding the orders and tasks
from Majicdoor.
1. Order Allocation
Report:
Go to Order
Allocation Report from Report menu. You will get a list of users who are eligible to receive orders.
You may see the orders assigned to any user clicking on the View button of the respective row.
2. Successful Orders
Report:
This report generates a list of orders that are successfully
completed.
3. Failed Orders
Report:
This report generates the list of orders that have been
failed to deliver within the stipulated date.
4. User Orders Report:
User-wise assigned orders along with its status are shown in
this report.
5. User Allocation
Report
This report option is used to see the tasks allocated to the
personnel for a specific period not more than one month.
Location: Report > Order Task Report > User Allocation
Report
Give a date range and select weekends, holidays and
departments according to your requirements for the report and click Show button.
Click on the day-wise man hours to look at the tasks
assigned to the respective user on that day as in the above picture.
You may look at all the tasks of any user for the given period pressing View
button beside the user name. The list of the tasks will be shown like the
following picture.
6. Task Update Report
This reporting option is used to generate the list of tasks
of a department on a specific date.
7. Task Update by
User Report
This report is to see any or all the users day-wise used man
hours against their assigned tasks in a given period.
8. Man Hour Update by
Order
Order-wise man hour usage and allocation for a specific
period is shown in this report.
9. Man Hour
Utilization Report:
There are many options that you may find in this screen for
setting up criteria to generate Man Hour Utilization Report . The report presents both in graphical and
numerical formats.
10. Baseline Report
This screen is used to generate baseline reports to compare
or see variance of planning and status between two baselines of an order or a
task.
To see this report respective order or task must have been set baselines
before any changes made to the planning after setting the first baseline.
Baseline concept is all about declaring a plan as a base plan with which one
can compare the actual outcome.

11. User-wise Current
Task(s) Report
This report is used to generate and see user-wise current tasks.
12. SMS Report
You may generate and see reports of task updates by SMS from mobile phones by a
user for a specified duration.
